The Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, announced on his Facebook page: "Festive good news for our students.... From January 1 to January 5, the following MUSEUMS will be free for our underage citizens (under 18 years old):. Take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate the New Year holidays with your family in our cultural centers:. From January 1-5, 2020, inclusive, working hours have been set from 12:00 to 17:00 in the following museums:
- History Museum of Armenia (until 18:00)
- National Gallery of Armenia (until 18:00)
- Literature and Art Museum named after Yerevan Charets
- Martiros Saryan House-Museum
- Komitas Museum-Institute
- Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum
- Sergey Parajanov Museum
- Ervand Kochar Museum
- Russian Art Museum (Professor Aram Abrahamyan's collection)
