Sports Must Be Depoliticized, Says Minister
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia aims to depoliticize sports. This was emphasized by Minister Arayik Harutyunyan during a conversation with journalists.
“I regret that certain groups are trying to involve sports in political developments in one way or another and exploit their connections with federations. Our main commitment in this area is to depoliticize sports just as we did in education. Sports should be depoliticized, be free, so that we can achieve good results,” he said.
