Minasyan Wins Gold and Aleksanyan Takes Silver at World Cup
The Armenian weightlifting team has once again earned medals at the latest stage of the World Cup series. In the final competition of the year held in Qatar, super heavyweight Gor Minasyan became the champion with a total lift of 424 kg, while team member Ruben Aleksanyan secured a silver medal with a lift of 416 kg.
Just a day earlier, the women's team member Tatev Hakobyan also clinched a world cup title.
