There are patches of black ice in the Vardenyac Pass. Road conditions as of 23:00

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 23:00 on December 21, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. There are patches of black ice in the Vardenyac Pass. It is advised for drivers of freight vehicles to use chains.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetia Emergency Ministry of the Russian Federation, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
