Surin Martirosyan, Player of 'Ararat 73', Passes Away
Surin Martirosyan, the legendary player of 'Ararat 73', has passed away. The Football Federation of Armenia reports that the legendary footballer, a master of sports of the USSR, has departed at the age of 70. His name is directly linked to the remarkable chapters of Armenian football.
As a football player, Surin Martirosyan played a significant role in the Armenian football of the 1970s, providing countless moments of joy to Armenians worldwide with his excellent performances. In June 2019, he was awarded the Football Federation of Armenia's gold commemorative medal for his significant contributions to Armenian football.
The funeral service for Surin Martirosyan will be held tomorrow, December 10, at 18:00, at St. Sargis Church in the 5th district of Nor Nork.
