Markos Pizelli Returns to Armenia
Markos Pizelli will continue his career in the Armenian Premier League. According to Sputnik Armenia, two leading Armenian clubs are interested in Pizelli's services.
It is reported that it is possible Pizelli will play for Ararat-Armenia. Pizelli's departure from Aktobe in the Kazakhstan Premier League was regarded as 'bad' news for the Armenian national team.
Pizelli announced on November 12 that he is retiring from the national team. Naturally, the 35-year-old player is also gradually considering the end of his career. However, he stated a month ago that the direction of his football career will be clear in the near future.
There is no doubt that even at this age, the Brazilian can significantly benefit our football. His experience and mastery have always played a favorable role in the teams in which he has participated.
Pizelli has played 66 matches for the Armenian national team and scored 11 goals. The last Armenian club he played for was Pyunik, from where he moved to Donetsk's Metalurh in 2011.
