Red Eagles Leader Announces Knowledge of Candidates for HFF President

Denis Sargsyan, founder and leader of the "Red Eagles" fan club of the Armenian national football team, reports that he has learned the names of those nominated for the presidency of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA). He made this announcement via a post on Facebook.

Sargsyan stated that FC Pyunik has nominated Arsen Agajanyan. Among the candidates are also the owner of FC Lori, Tovmas Grigoryan, legendary footballer Khoren Abrahamyan, and the current Secretary General and First Vice President of the FFA, Armen Melikbekyan. According to Sargsyan, Melikbekyan's candidacy was proposed by FC Urartu (formerly known as Banants).

The deadline for submitting nominations for the FFA president and executive committee members was yesterday, December 2. An extraordinary meeting and elections are set to take place on December 23.
