Griboedov's Statue Cleansed

Griboedov's painted statue has been cleaned. The head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Yerevan City Hall, Hovsep Kubatyans, posted photos on his Facebook page, along with the comment: "Since I am not in Armenia, I missed the event, but since the Central Administrative District has a new leader, the solution was prompt."

It is worth mentioning that the son of the president of the 'Tseghakron' party, Shant Harutyunyan, Shahen Harutyunyan, announced on his Facebook page that he had painted Griboedov's statue, the ambassador of the Russian Empire and writer, in red in response to the staining of the Nzhdeh memorial plaque.
