Car Goes Off Road on Sevan-Covaghyug Highway and Partially Ends Up in Lake

On November 30, at 08:23, the '911' service received a report that an accident occurred on the Sevan-Covaghyug highway, where a vehicle went off the road and partially landed in the lake. There were reported injuries.

A specialized rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that at the 7th km of the Sevan-Covaghyug highway, a 'Honda Odyssey' vehicle (driver: Hakob A., born in 1992) had gone off the road and slid approximately 45 meters towards Lake Sevan, partially ending up in the water.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver was taken to the Sevan Medical Center, where doctors assessed the injured person's condition as satisfactory. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
