Driver of BMW Arrested in Controversial Shooting Incident in Ejmiadzin
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on November 26, a investigator from the Armavir regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee filed a petition with the Armavir Regional Court requesting a two-month detention order against 25-year-old Argishti Aivazyan, a resident of Ejmiadzin.
As reported, a criminal case has been initiated against him under the characteristics of Articles 34-38 and 104 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
The court conducted a closed hearing and, upon returning from the deliberation room, granted the investigative body's request, leading to A. Aivazyan's transfer to the “Armavir” penal institution.
He is suspected of participating in an attempted murder of 27-year-old Gurgen Arakelyan, a resident of Ejmiadzin, which occurred on November 14.
Sources indicate that the BMW found by the police and investigators of the Armavir region belongs to A. Aivazyan.
