Rafael Vahanyan Becomes World Champion at Veteran Chess Players Championship

In the recently concluded World Championship for veteran chess players in Bucharest, Rafael Vahanyan, who competed in the category for players aged 65 and above, has been crowned the world champion. In the final round, Vahanyan defeated Danish player Jens Christiansen. Vahanyan, along with two other chess players, finished with a total of 8.5 points and was recognized as the first place winner based on tiebreak criteria.
