Recruit Stabs Military Commissariat Employee in the Face

An extraordinary incident occurred yesterday at the military commissariat in the Kotayk province. A recruit stabbed one of the employees in the face and fled the scene.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the injured employee was taken to the Abovyan Medical Center. Reports suggest that a dispute took place in the courtyard of the commissariat, during which the stabbing occurred.

Law enforcement quickly identified the young man and located him, and they are now investigating the details of the incident. According to media reports, the injured man works in the drafting department of the military commissariat.

The police's press service confirmed the news, stating that the recruit voluntarily presented himself to the police. “After some explanatory work, he came to the police station and confessed to the act,” the police reported, noting that the incident took place around 14:00.

Materials related to the incident have been prepared and transferred to the military police.
