Accident on Artashat-Ararat Highway Leaves One Injured

On November 20, at 13:27, the 911 service received a call reporting an accident on the Artashat-Ararat highway at the 4th km, where a citizen was trapped.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and one firefighting rescue unit were dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a collision occurred between a BMW (driven by Arsen A., born in 1990) and a Mercedes E (driven by Karen Kh., born in 1987) at the 45th km of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger of the BMW, Margarita G. (born in 1990), was hospitalized at the Artashat Medical Center, where doctors assessed her condition as moderate.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the gas cylinder valves, and carried out road cleaning works. This was reported by the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
