The former mayor of Gyumri, Vardan Ghukasyan, was asked by journalists today whether he might run again for the position of mayor. Ghukasyan first emphasized that social surveys have shown that his rating never decreases, which is why there is concern about him. He then hurried to "alleviate the anxiety" by stating, "I won’t run, but of course, the people tell me every moment, why did you stay, why have you left us unattended?" When asked why he is not submitting his candidacy if this is the case, Ghukasyan replied, "Let me know that."
