Manvel Grigoryan Collapses During Court Hearing; Proceedings Adjourned

During the ongoing court hearing regarding the former president of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Manvel Grigoryan, at the Central and Norq Marash Administrative Court in Yerevan today, November 19, the proceedings were adjourned for several minutes as Grigoryan's health condition deteriorated again. Emergency medical staff had to carry the defendant out of the courtroom.

It is noted that Manvel Grigoryan arrived in a wheelchair, accompanied by emergency medical personnel.

Recall that at the previous hearing, the defendant's lawyers submitted a motion for self-recusal of the court, which was rejected.

Manvel Grigoryan is accused of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, embezzling property worth over 101 million drams, avoiding payment of taxes exceeding 1 billion drams, misappropriating public funds totaling over 1 billion drams, and organizing the theft of property worth 37 million drams through extortion.

Nazik Amiryan, Grigoryan's wife, is accused of illegally storing military munitions and explosives in three houses they own, along with her husband, their son Arman Grigoryan, and other unidentified individuals with prior agreement, as well as committing various types of theft.
