Marukyan Informs: Resolution 296 Could Not Be Halted

Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, wrote on his Facebook page: "Important Notification: The passage of Resolution 296 by the U.S. House of Representatives, affirming the U.S. position on the Armenian Genocide, is an irrefutable fact.

Yesterday, a resolution that was halted in the U.S. Senate is a different resolution and has no connection to the already adopted and historic resolution. Resolution 296 could not be halted, and it is still in existence today. I reiterate, this is a historical fact."
