Araik Harutyunyan is Subject to Criminal Liability, Says Artsvik Minasian

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Araik Harutyunyan, is attempting to label the noble protests of the youth from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) and politicize their struggle. This indicates that he does not understand where he is and what functions he has, said Artsvik Minasian, a member of the ARF Bureau of Armenia, during a press conference.

"He does not realize his responsibilities at all and is acting illegally. By politicizing the wave of protests, Araik Harutyunyan aims to weaken the youth struggle. This person is trying to detach the younger generation from national identity," the spokesperson stated.

Artsvik Minasian announced that Araik Harutyunyan is subject to criminal liability under at least two articles of the criminal code for false denunciation or concealing a crime.

"He is trying to unleash a torrent of legal accusations through political blackmail, which makes it clear that we are dealing with an irresponsible individual who has initiated a process of discrediting national values," the ARF official noted.

Artsvik Minasian is confident that the youth demanding the minister's resignation will receive support from communities across all regions and all layers of society.
