Everything Must Be Accounted For; I Don't Know If the Responsibility Will Be Criminal, Administrative, Political, or Moral – PM

The current systems for the care of the elderly, night shelters, and children without parental care are systems of despair. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during today’s cabinet meeting.

“We must listen carefully to criticisms, but those who say 'Oh, you are reducing our workplaces; what are you doing with the night shelter?' will not be heard because we will demand answers from them about what kind of care has taken place for those children and the elderly,” said the Prime Minister.

“How is it possible that in one year, 3-4 billion drams can be saved in the pension and benefit system? Where have those 3-4 billion been in previous years? Because the entire system has served one purpose: to make people as desperate as possible, to bring them to their knees,” added Pashinyan.

Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that everyone should remember: nothing is forgotten, nothing is overlooked. “Everything must be accounted for; I don’t know if that responsibility will be criminal, administrative, political, or moral, but accountability is inevitable,” said the Prime Minister, adding, “I say, continue with courage.”
