Official Called and Thanked for Being Fined: Prime Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
"The acting head of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, informed me the following: a high-ranking official from Armenia called him and thanked him for the fact that a traffic police officer stopped his car for violating traffic rules and, despite recognizing him as a high-ranking official, fined him nonetheless. After hearing this story, I instructed the acting head of the Police to encourage the traffic police officer who fined the high-ranking official for breaching traffic rules."
