Chief of Investigation Committee on Summoning Vigen Sargsyan for Interrogation
The former Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan has not been summoned for interrogation. This was stated by the head of the RA Investigative Committee, Hayk Grigoryan, in a conversation with reporters.
“As far as I know, he is not in Armenia and has not been invited for interrogation,” he said.
When asked what news there was regarding the case, Grigoryan replied, “There is no new information here; there are several pieces of evidence indicating that the commission allocated apartments to individuals, which were supposed to be allocated either later or as a result of the commission's discussions, rather than through a unilateral decision.”
According to Grigoryan, Vigen Sargsyan is not involved as a defendant in the case. It is worth mentioning that earlier the Investigative Committee reported that the case related to Vigen Sargsyan had been sent from the NSS to the Investigative Committee.
