Araik Harutyunyan: The 20 Million Dram Grant for the 'Mel' Film Was Allocated Before My Appointment as Minister
Weightlifter Melinee Daluzhyan has represented Armenia at the highest levels for many years, often performing to the national anthem. We have allocated funds to cover aspects of our champion's life, said Araik Harutyunyan, Armenia's Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, in a conversation with reporters today. He added that the funds were granted before his tenure began.
"If you conduct a little journalistic inquiry, you will understand that this money was allocated before I became minister," he stated.
It is worth noting that the National Cinema Center has provided 20 million drams for the production of the film 'Mel,' which tells the story of Melinee Daluzhyan.
