Driver Causes Fatal Accident with Young Man and Flees the Scene

On October 28, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:00 PM, the driver of an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian on Tigran Mets Avenue. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the victim, a young man, was placed on a stretcher by paramedics in order to be transported to the hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The driver, leaving the injured young man helpless, fled the scene.

Both the police and the investigative department are conducting necessary operational and investigative joint actions to identify the deceased, locate the driver who caused the accident, and find his vehicle. According to G. Shamshyan’s information, the vehicle involved in the accident was a black foreign model.
