Brawl at Tsaghkadzor's Royal Casino Over Betting Dispute

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an extraordinary incident occurred today, October 26, in the Kotayk region. At approximately 1:30 AM, operational information was received at the Hrazdan police department regarding an incident inside the Royal Casino in Tsaghkadzor that escalated into a brawl.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, officers from the Hrazdan police division found that earlier the same day, around 1:00 AM, the head of security at the casino, 35-year-old Garegin K. from Yerevan, had a dispute over making a bet with 38-year-old Babken A. and 46-year-old Mikayel Sh., both residents of Yerevan. During the altercation, the latter sustained injuries, particularly affecting Mikayel Sh.

According to G. Shamshyan, the Hrazdan police located both the victims and Garegin K., who represented the casino's security, and he was also brought to the Hrazdan police station, where he provided an explanation concerning the incident before being released. The investigative unit of the Hrazdan police department is preparing materials regarding the incident. Authorities are taking necessary measures to identify and locate other individuals involved.

G. Shamshyan also reported that Mikayel Sh. is a director of one of the private enterprises operating in Yerevan.
