Suspicious Bag Found on Second Floor of Airport

A suspicious bag containing an object resembling an explosive was discovered at Zvartnots International Airport, as reported by the airport's press service.

Yesterday evening, one of the airport's cleaning staff noticed the suspicious bag on an outdoor bench on the second floor of the airport.

The authorities have been notified about the discovered object. For safety reasons, the road leading to the upper floor of the airport has been temporarily closed. All airport services have operated smoothly, and there has been no panic; no flight or passenger delays related to the incident have been recorded.

We thank our employees for being attentive and vigilant in their work. Law enforcement agencies, including members from the Police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, have arrived at the airport to determine the nature of the object. An ambulance crew was also present on-site.

Authorities are investigating the identity of the person or persons who left the object in the airport area along with other details.
