I and Pashinyan Have Repeatedly Addressed the Case of the Bread Provider: Marukyan
In a briefing at the National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan, the head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, addressed the case of Arthur Sargsyan, known as the Bread Provider. He noted that both he and Nikol Pashinyan had repeatedly discussed the matter and had ensured Sargsyan's release, but it was already too late.
"The struggle between Nikol and me was that if the Bread Provider had been released earlier, it would not have turned out this way. He had already been exhausted; perhaps if Nikol and I had approached the prosecutor's office in time, he would have been released then and would not have died, but it was done too late," said Marukyan.
Edmon Marukyan also commented on the detention of the former deputy head of the National Assembly's staff, Arsen Babayan, stating that he is closely monitoring all processes and any actions that fall outside the laws of Armenia will be subject to serious criticism from their faction.
