VIDEO: Answers Will Be Given – Gagik Tsarukyan

Today, during a press briefing with journalists at the National Assembly, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, addressed the situation surrounding the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan, and the questioning of family members by the NSS.

"I do not accept this. The question is about Hrayr Tovmasyan. We are all for it; let them punish, we are not in favor of crime. But as a Armenian man, a family man, seeing that a 16 or 18-year-old child is summoned for questioning, that is unacceptable to me," said Tsarukyan.

He also commented on the arrest of former deputy chief of the National Assembly staff, Arsen Babayan. "We all need to see the justifications for Arsen Babayan's arrest; we need to see if there is a criminal element in that person's activities based on which he has been arrested. The arresting authorities will have to answer if it is baseless," added Gagik Tsarukyan.

The leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party also stated that life goes on, and people must properly use their positions and powers.
