New Photo-Radar Speed Camera to be Activated
The Road Police informs that the lack of control over adherence to the maximum allowed speed through photographic technical means has created favorable conditions for numerous drivers to exceed the maximum traffic speed, contributing to the emergence of accident situations. According to Article 22 of the Law on Police of the Republic of Armenia, a photo-radar speed camera has been relocated to the unregulated pedestrian crossing near the entrance of the residential area of Dzor 1 on Yeghvard Highway in Yerevan.
The photo-radar speed camera will be activated starting from October 14, 2019. The Road Police urges drivers to adhere to traffic regulations.
