Video: Bank Manager Who Embezzled 122 Million Drams Arrested

On September 28, a report was received at the Artashat police department indicating that during an inspection of the cash register of a branch of one of the banks operating in Armenia, it was discovered that 122 million drams had been embezzled. This information was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

As a result of operational measures taken, the Artashat police obtained factual data regarding the identity of the person suspected of committing the crime.

On October 6, through operational-investigative measures, the suspect, who is the manager of the aforementioned branch, was located in Yerevan and taken to the Artashat police department.

A 38-year-old man from the Ararat region was presented to the investigating authority and arrested. The circumstances of the case are being clarified. The investigation is ongoing.
