Gunfire at House in Haghartsin, Arson Attempt Made

On October 5, at 21:40, a 65-year-old resident of Haghartsin village called the police to report that shots had been fired at his house and an attempt was made to set it on fire.

The police report states that officers from the Tavush regional department and the Dilijan division responded to the scene. The caller reported that stones were thrown towards their house, resulting in a broken window in the kitchen, and when he stepped outside, he noticed a flammable liquid near the entrance door.

Thanks to operational intelligence measures, a 41-year-old man from Ijevan was apprehended hours after the call and provided a confession. Investigations are underway.
