Body of a Man Discovered Near the Bridge in Shahumyan Village
On October 7, a tragic incident occurred in the Ararat region. At around 3:30 PM, the Ararat Regional Police received a report that a man's body was found near the bridge of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway close to Shahumyan village.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the deceased was identified as 64-year-old Slaviq M., a resident of Yerevan. Upon examination at the scene, the forensic doctor stated that there were no signs of violence on the body. A forensic medical examination has been ordered by the investigator.
Investigative materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The photojournalist reports that while the forensic doctor was examining the body, police and investigators found a Lada-brand vehicle with the license plate 36 MR 301 at the site, and there is a theory that this vehicle belonged to the deceased, who likely parked the car and stepped out for fresh air before unexpectedly passing away.
