Artificial Intelligence's 'Creation' Featured My Work: Artsruni

Songwriter Vahan Artsruni has addressed the performance of music created by artificial intelligence during the opening concert of the WCIT-2019 conference on his Facebook page. He noted that the introductory text was accompanied by the performance of his own composition, of which he was not aware.

“I won’t speak about the aesthetic and other cultural aspects of this 'creation' by artificial intelligence. BUT!!! Listen carefully to the music playing beneath the introductory text, which inspired this artificial intelligence, as told by the programmer who developed the algorithms. My dear friends, what you hear is my arrangement of the Mashtots hymn, of which I was unaware. Therefore, I GIVE NO PERMISSION for any usage or format, and I consider this a SERIOUS VIOLATION of copyright and intellectual freedom laws. I will be pursuing this matter.”
