Life of Contract Soldier Wounded by Enemy Fire in Koti is Not in Danger

In Koti village of the Tavush Province, the life of the 28-year-old contract soldier wounded yesterday is not in danger. This was stated by Felix Melikyan, the village head of Koti, in an interview with NEWS.am.

He noted that the contract soldier is unmarried and is currently receiving treatment at a central clinic, after which he will continue his service.

Earlier, it was reported that the contract soldier, Yeghishe Chakhmakhchyan, was wounded in the shoulder area in the border area of Koti community in the Noyemberyan district. He was transported to the Noyemberyan medical center and later to the Central Military Clinical Hospital.
