Children Poisoned After Consuming Wild Mushrooms
On October 4, at 03:40, the Bazum police department received a report from a hospital indicating that a 37-year-old man, two women aged 31 and 59, and two minor children aged 9 and 11 had been hospitalized with a diagnosis of "mushroom poisoning."
Community police officers dispatched to the hospital were informed by the affected man that the poisoning occurred after consuming wild mushrooms he had collected near the village of Noratus in the Gegharkunik region on October 2.
Investigations are underway.
