11 Entertainment and Leisure Centers Shut Down in the Capital: Yerevan Municipality
According to a statement from the Yerevan Municipality, operations at several entertainment and leisure centers in Yerevan were halted as of September 26.
In response to a written inquiry from Tert.am, the municipality noted that out of the 52 entertainment and leisure centers in the capital, 11 were located in apartment buildings, leading to the suspension of their operations in accordance with the law.
The fate of the remaining 41 centers will be determined at a future session of the Yerevan Council, where decisions will be made regarding the permissible distance for entertainment and leisure centers from residential buildings.
The centers whose operations are being suspended include the “Ofuro,” “Ariela,” and “Sauna” bathhouses in the Kentron administrative district, as well as the “Hookah Men,” “Verona,” “Dabu” karaoke bars, “Omega,” “Doas,” “Anabel,” “Crystal” dance clubs, and the “Ecstasy” dance club in the Shengavit administrative district.
