Doctor Assaulted, Undergoes Surgery; Condition Moderate

Today, an extraordinary incident occurred at the Fanarjyan National Center for Oncology. The son of the dismissed head of the thoraco-abdominal department, Gagik Hambardzumyan, entered the office of the acting head of the center, Narek Manukyan, and hurled the most vulgar insults at him, even physically assaulting him.

Narek Manukyan received medical assistance and underwent surgery. According to Hraparak.am, the surgery has just concluded, and the injured doctor suffered from a multifragmented nasal injury and a concussion.
