Fire Burns Approximately 10 Hectares of Grass Cover Near Nubarashen Administrative District

On October 3, at 13:28, the emergency hotline '911' received a call reporting a fire in a mountain near the village of Bardzrashen in Ararat province.

A firefighting unit from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire started in a mountain close to the Nubarashen administrative district of Yerevan. The fire was contained by 14:49 and extinguished by 15:00.

Around 10 hectares of grass cover were burned, along with 5 tree stumps, and 5 trees were scorched.
