«Zhamanak». Head of the Customs Committee's Personnel Department Receives Huge Severance Pay and Retires

«Zhamanak» newspaper reports that Asatur Vardanyan, the head of the Personnel Department of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), has recently been relieved of his duties, likely due to reaching retirement age.

What's notable is that Vardanyan did not leave empty-handed. Furthermore, the entire system is abuzz with discussions about the severance package and bonuses he received. According to information that has come to light, he has received a huge severance payment, in addition to another 3-4 million drams, possibly as a reward.

The system is outraged, questioning why the head of the Personnel Department should retire and take home approximately $10,000.
