Court Refuses to Release Manvel Grigoryan
The trial session for Manvel Grigoryan and Nazik Amiryan continued at the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court in the Kentron-Nork Marash district. Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan once again rejected the motion by Manvel Grigoryan's defense team to change the measure of restraint.
After the publication of the decision, citizens present in the courtroom exited with pronounced negative reactions. Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan ordered that these citizens be denied entry to the courtroom for the next session. The session was postponed, with the next court date set for October 8.
It is noteworthy that the defense has characterized the court's decisions to reject the motion for changing the measure of restraint as illegal torture towards Manvel Grigoryan.
