Vaentsyan's Father Not Subject to Criminal Case, Says STS
The State Revenue Committee (SRC) has denied reports that a criminal case has been opened against Arthur Vaentsyan's father, Gagik Vaentsyan, who served as the former head of the National Security Service (NSS). This information was shared with Sputnik Armenia by Lusine Mkrtchyan, head of the SRC's information and public relations department.
“There is no criminal case initiated against Gagik Vaentsyan, father of Arthur Vaentsyan, at the SRC,” she stated.
It is worth noting that rumors had circulated in the media that a criminal case was opened against Gagik Vaentsyan at the SRC. Preparatory work for the case had been conducted months ago, but no action was taken as Vaentsyan was a member of the Prime Minister's team. Gagik Vaentsyan is a businessman.
