Time. Tunyan's Commentary on Hovik Abrahamyan
According to the newspaper "Time," the National Assembly discussed a legislative initiative to raise property tax for owners of luxury properties the other day. The chairman of the NA Economic Affairs Committee, Babken Tunyan, announced that, for example, owners who currently pay 3 million drams in property tax will be required to pay 25 million drams after the change in law.
Our sources indicate that Tunyan's remarks were regarding former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. On the other hand, another representative of oligarchy, Samvel Aleksanyan, has divided his private home into approximately 10 parts and registered them separately in the names of his children. This change will not apply to Aleksanyan.
