‘Zhamanak’. The Authorities are Buying Time

'Zhamanak' newspaper writes: 'Despite Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's call on September 9 to unblock the roads leading to the Amulsar mine, this does not mean that the authorities will resort to harsh measures in the coming days. During a meeting with members of the ‘My Step’ faction, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that there are still 8 months left, and ‘Lydian’ will resume its activities in April-May of next year. In the meantime, there is hope that those blocking the mine will either tire or can be convinced. Only after these options have been attempted will the authorities turn to a forceful solution.'
