The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has announced the dissolution of Parliament. This was reported by TASS.
The head of the government also confirmed that parliamentary elections will take place in the country on October 21. “Just moments ago, the Governor General of Canada accepted my announcement to dissolve Parliament. Canadians will go to the polls on October 21,” Trudeau said in a speech directed at the public, which was broadcast on federal television channels.
