Surik Papikyan Participates in Events of the 24th World Energy Congress
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, Surik Papikyan, met with the President of the World Energy Council, Y. David Kimi, on September 9 as part of the 24th World Energy Congress. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia. During the meeting, they discussed future cooperation avenues between the organization and the Armenian National Committee.
To familiarize himself with Armenia's energy capabilities, Minister Papikyan invited David Kimi to visit Armenia. Accompanied by the Armenian Ambassador to the UAE, Mher Mkrtumyan, Minister Papikyan toured the expo exhibition halls of the congress, exploring booths related to nuclear energy and gaining insights into advancements in nuclear technologies.
Specifically, developments in the field of small modular reactors were presented to the minister, considering the prospects for their implementation in Armenia.
