Municipality Has Made No Transfers, We Are Unable to Pay Salaries: ‘Sanitek’

For the second half of August, from the 16th to the 31st, no transfers have been made by the municipality. This is stated in a statement from the management of ‘Sanitek’. The full statement is presented below.

“In response to the statement from the Yerevan City Hall that it transferred 165 million 340 thousand AMD to ‘Sanitek’ for the month of August, we inform that payments from the municipality are made bi-monthly: for the period from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to the 31st.

For August, approximately 430 million AMD should have been transferred from the Yerevan City Hall. In the first half of August, the municipality transferred 141 million 831 thousand 728 AMD to our company, and during that period, it withheld 69 million 546 thousand 191 AMD.

As for the second half of August, from the 16th to the 31st, no transfers have been made by the municipality. Moreover, the invoices and performance acts submitted by ‘Sanitek’ have not been accepted by the municipality.

Due to the existing financial crisis situation, the company is unable to pay the salaries of its employees for the month of August.
