Jack Ma Steps Down as Chairman of Alibaba
Alibaba founder Jack Ma has stepped down from the position of chairman of the board of directors of the Chinese company, reports Gazeta, citing Bloomberg.
Ma leaves his role as the CEO of China’s largest company on his 55th birthday, with a net worth of $41.8 billion.
He will be succeeded in this position by the company’s CEO, Daniel Zhang, who will simultaneously hold both the CEO and chairman roles.
