Charges Filed Against Levon Sargsyan, Brother of Serzh Sargsyan
Charges have been filed against Levon Sargsyan, the brother of Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan, in connection with apparent misconduct during the construction of the North-South Road.
This was reported to NEWS.am by Naira Harutyunyan, the head of the media department of the RA Investigative Committee. Based on sufficient evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation, a decision has been made to charge Levon Sargsyan under Article 190, Part 3, Clause 1, and Article 311, Part 4, Clause 2 of the RA Criminal Code.
A wanted notice has been issued for Sargsyan, and a motion has been submitted to the court to choose detention as a measure of restraint.
