Armenia Grants Asylum to Russian Opposition Politician
Armenia has granted refugee status to Russian opposition and civic-political figure Vitaly Shishkin. As reported by Rusarminfo, Shishkin announced this on his Facebook page.
"I am grateful to Armenia for granting me refugee status, as a political figure persecuted by Russia for political reasons," he wrote.
It is presumed that Shishkin has permanently settled in Armenia's second-largest city, Gyumri.
