Teachers' Salaries to Increase by 10% Starting September 1, Says Nikol Pashinyan
Beginning September 1, the salaries of 38,000 teachers across the Republic will increase by 10%, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.
It is worth noting that back in March, during a report on the implementation of the Government's program in the National Assembly, the Prime Minister announced that the revenue part of the 2019 state budget would exceed the target by at least 40 billion drams, which is approximately $90 million. As a result, the salaries of soldiers will increase from July 1, and teachers' salaries will follow suit from September 1.
