Continuing to Work on This Critical Issue: Consultation on Amulsar Held by Nikol Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on his Facebook page that he held a consultation on the Amulsar issue earlier today.
“A representative from Lydian was also present. I was interested in the potential phases of the designed process, how to tangibly manage possible risks, and the levers available to the government. We continue to work on this critical issue,” he wrote.

Today, the government staff is sending the conclusion of Elard to the Ministry of Environment with the following instruction: to ascertain whether the conclusion contains data that necessitates a new environmental impact assessment for the operation of the Amulsar mine in accordance with Armenian legislation.
