The Prime Minister's Assistant Will Attempt to Organize a Meeting Between Environmentalists and the Prime Minister
Protests against the exploitation of the Amulsar mine continue in front of the government building. A moment ago, environmentalists gave government representatives 5 minutes to allow 5 environmentalists to enter the government building and present the expert conclusion on the mine's exploitation during a session.
Police had blocked the entrance to the government building, leading to a dispute with the environmentalists. Shortly thereafter, the Prime Minister's assistant, Nairi Sargsyan, approached the gathered individuals and requested them to convey the package of positions presented by the environmentalists. However, the environmentalists insist on meeting the Prime Minister in person.
The environmentalists note that this package will be incomprehensible without their input, and they need to present the content themselves. Participants of the protest decided to wait while the Prime Minister's assistant tries to arrange a meeting with the Prime Minister.
